Wedding Invitation

To keep printing manageable, the outside was printed in 2 color with a full color inside. The artwork was all original, created for the invitation. They wanted something with a postcard/tiki/island theme to match the reception setting.

The invitation needed to be simple, easy to mail, and easy to respond to. The format was at a size of 8 1/2″ x 12″, which folded to a large postcard size of 8 1/2″ x 6″ for mailing. The invitation was perforated, so the guests could RSVP by detaching the cover and mailing.

A firm staff retreat was held at an arena which is home to a local football team. The sports theme was carried throughout the retreat, and this illustration was created for use in several pieces of support material.
