NEPA BSA Friends of Scouting Program 2006

The Friends of Scouting dinner for the NEPA Boy Scouts of America is held annually to raise money for the organization and to honor selected individuals for their work in the community which reflects the Scout Values. The dinner includes this souvenir program.

This program for the dinner was printed with a color cover and black & white interior. The cover artwork is selected by the NEPA Scouts and then the cover is designed around the chosen piece. The layout of the interior contained roughly 60 pages including dinner information, bios of the dinner chairs, speakers and honorees, and other miscellaneous NEPA Scout content designed and then approved by the BSA coordinators. In addition, about 20 pages of the program is reserved for sponsor advertising. Coordinating the program content includes providing advertising specifications to sponsors, working with ads sent in by sponsors in various formats, and creating ads for sponsors who do not have the resources to create their own ads. Once approved I would package the program files and work with the vendor to have it printed and delivered to the BSA office.
